{"id":255,"date":"2014-10-06T05:13:52","date_gmt":"2014-10-06T05:13:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zypacinfotech.com\/gqs\/?page_id=255"},"modified":"2014-10-06T05:13:52","modified_gmt":"2014-10-06T05:13:52","slug":"naac-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/zypacinfotech.com\/gqs\/naac-accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"National Assessment and Accreditation Council or NAAC Accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>What is National Assessment and Accreditation Council or NAAC Accreditation?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>National Assessment and Accreditation Council or NAAC Accreditation enhances the quality of higher education, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to make accreditation mandatory for all universities and colleges coming under its purview.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to The Hindu on the sidelines of the 5 NAAC accreditation award ceremony here on Sunday, UGC Chairman (acting) Ved Prakash said: \u201cAn order will be issued soon to make accreditation mandatory for all universities and colleges come under the UGC.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cThe rule to make accreditation mandatory will be soon vetted by the Human Resource Development Ministry,\u201d he said.<br \/>\n\u201cThe accreditation helps an institution to identify its strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities.\u201d All educational institutions coming under UGC must obtain accreditation once in three years, he said.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Importance and Advantages of NAAC Accreditation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>All universities, institutions of higher learning and colleges in the country in future have to obtain accreditation certificates from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, to get funds from the UGC for various academic and research programme<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Standards of NAAC Accreditation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>NAAC has identified the following seven criteria to serve as the basis of its assessment procedures:<\/li>\n<li>Curricular Aspects<\/li>\n<li>Teaching-Learningand Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Research, Consultancy and Extension<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure and Learning Resources<\/li>\n<li>Student Support and Progression<\/li>\n<li>Governance and Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Innovative practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Top Companies and Organizations with NAAC Accreditation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>University: University Central Governance Structure along with all the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Departments.<\/li>\n<li>College: Any College \u2013 affiliated, constituent or autonomous with all its departments of studies.
